You will notice, my friends and neighbors, that I am a huge fan of Google. Google has always proven to be, in my opinion, consumer-friendly. The have always been about free, or cheap for the end-user, finding ways of making money on the back-end. With that being said, I have made it my mission to promote and even preach Google, Google, Google.
You may decide to boycott my little ole blog here, and that is okay. More power to you. I, in no way, shape, or form, think I know it all, or even most of what is going on in that complex littered with pastries on the fron lawn.
But I am a consumer. One, not made of money, so as long as they continue to offer me products and services for little or no money, then I am all over it.
And, hence, my point: Bring on the mobile phone wars! Let me tell those dastardly carriers with their evil contracts to take those contracts and stick them where the sun don't shine! The Google Phone is coming ladies and gentlemen, and I will be among the first jump on board the Google train.
Anyway, just my $0.02. Take it or leave it. As a consumer, that is your choice. Oh, I wouldn'tbe doing my job if I didn't offer at least some semblance of proof to what I am saying.

It's almost here!
Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to get your Google Voice account, if you have gotten it yet. We are just a couple of months away from the mobile phone market being flipped on its heels. Don't take my word for it, read here: http://ff.im/-bZZID.
I have heard both good and bad about this. My take? I could think of nothing I would like better than to tell all of the Mobile Carriers to kiss my arse! I am so freaking tired of being bound by a contract, forced to spend hundreds of dollars a month.
Come on Google. You have my vote!

To root or not to root
I have been fighting with myself over and over again, trying to decide whether or not to root my Android G1. While, I see all of the benefits and reasons for rooting it, I am still just cautiously holding off, waiting on some unknown force to push me to that final decision. I'm not really sure what my reasons are for holding off, but here I sit, with my non-root G1, reading article after article on the different apps available for rooted phones.
Maybe one day, I will finally take that step, but until then, I guess I am just going to have to go on to the next article. So, I guess, it's off to either g1profiles.ning.com or to one of the many others.
Until next time,
